I am going to set up a communal setup and desire a active bunch. I would love to try a desert scorpion, but do not bias your opinion on that. What do you think about Hadrurus arizonensis, Vaejvois spinigerus, and Babycurus Jacksoni in a communal setup? Pros/cons

THANKYA

Sincerely Mr and Mrs Shakleford

for one thing i know that hadrurus arizonensis, or any of the hadrurus species, are not very communal at all! The biggest scorp in the tank will kill or eat its cage mates. If you have evenly sized specimens, fighting will still occur and so will injuries. I would say the only time hadrurus spp could be kept communaly would be if the enclosure was huge and a very large supply of food was available. Even then fighting could occur.

B. jacksoni are not what I would consider a "dry desert" species.... :wall: :wall:

Some of the Hottentotta species are communal, along with H. judaicus which is my favorite Hottentotta species.;P ;P
