Could you house an old world T and a heterometrus scorpion together?

I think I know the answer to that one, but any reflection on what would probably go wrong? I have a big and pretty setup for them but I know it is hardly a good idea.I have a tank housing a timor monitor and another having a bush viper. Both live happily together together with big peaceful millipedes, a swarm of isopods and some pretty and fast cockroaches they both leave alone, that is why the idea came to me. I have several scorpions and would now like to try an old world or a suntiger. Big fan of "Dave's Little Beasties".

How do snakes detect their prey?

How do tarantulas detect their prey?

What do scorpions eat? How do they immobilize their prey? How do they defend themselves?

The thing is a bush vipar and a millipede doesn't share the same ecological niche. Nore do they prey on each other. = no competition.

A tarantula and a scorpion share the exact same ecological niche and both are opportunistic hunters. So the competition is really high and if they meet, they would fight.

So if you can build a setup where they will never meet... yes it could work.
Does it make any sense to build a giant enclosure for one scorpion and one tarantula? Absolutly not.

like perhaps an arboreal T and a Scorp on the floor, but still arboreal Ts wander and you have opportunity for encounter

That dark den guy on youtube attempted this with a pinktoe and a Theraphosa species. Eventually the pinktoe disappeared and the Theraphosa was fatter...

It depends. In a 40x40cm exoterra... it will fail definitly. In a 4x4m zoo enclosure. It could work but still... If they meet, they'll fight.

But still why?
Lets just say, you could try it in a 100x100×50cm tank with a 50/50 chance that it might work.
It would be a lot of effort and money for a 50/50 chance. And it would take the space of 4-9 enclosures.

If they encountered each other, you'd end up with an injured or dead T or scorpion. Probably both taking potentially fatal wounds.
