This is really cool. Some of the things in this article make my head hurt though.

"Alarmists were ready to take up arms against the lion onslaught on the Central Washington deer population."

"Gallie said the photo of eight cougars has caused a buzz among hunters that the hills are full of cougars devouring deer."

It boggles my mind that people are this damned stupid! This kind of thinking is almost sarah palin shooting wolves from a helicopter level of stupid.

Lots of missing teeth, hands with 7 fingers & very tight family units out thar in Central WA, if ya know what I mean You'd think some of those, um, "hunters" would pick up on the fact that a gathering of cougars like this, in the same area, might be a sign that the deer population is doing just fine.
