They really seem to swarm haven’t had any problems with small ones maturing since weeks ago. I’ll need a bigger container soon but my heatmat cord isn’t very long .
Yeah then yesterday the dog got in my bin and set a few freee I caught most of them. Any tips hunting them down ? I set out egg Cartons and stuff but that only
Caught a few . I’m never leaving the lid off again. There might only be a few left hiding, if any. Tiny dog set the prisoners free. I caught 40 already. Goto catch them before they die from dehydration.
Added ventilation but sadly another death I’m not sure if it died because I removed the frass and it couldn’t flip itself over or because it was attacked and eaten. Despite grinded cat chow available.
So I let the container air out with the lid off but a few adults got loose , 2 have been caught . I don’t understand how they got out there’s tape on the thermostat wire so they can’t climb it ? Yet they still escaped!!!!
I figured out how there escaping and caught 8 loose ones . It seems I’ll eventually need to use a larger container but should I move heatpad to the side ?
Heat pad warping plastic
Had a ventilation disaster, the container smelled terrible but I removed the lid before the excess humidity caused any issues . Any tips ? Or ideas ? Pics are a above of lid.
