Polymorpha is a great choice for beginners and the best part is that you won’t need to get nuts about parameters or additional heat given that they’re native of US. I’d suggest you add a bit of reptile sand, expanded clay and sphagnum moss to make the substrate lighter(40% coco, 30% sand, 15 & 15% clay and sphagnum). Coco fibre tends to get a little heavy when is moist. Last but not least, keep always in mind that polymorpha is a desert centipede and prefer to be a bit on drier side so don’t overdo with wetting/misting. Best of look with your new centipede. Update on the pedeling i haven't seen it in a few days it spends most of the time buried. it did explore the surface quite often for a few days and i did see it eat a couple crickets about 5 days ago but haven't really seen it since which is a little worrying. From what ive read it seems like fairly normal behavior or am i wrong about that and should be worried
