Cobweb Spider? ID

Caught this female spider in the basement. I think it's a cobweb spider, not too sure though. If it is, what species is it?

One more thing, can someone tell me how long these spiders live or can live?

Actually, like many theridiids, they can live quite long.

S. grossa can live to be over 5 years, i know this for sure, because one in my room had the same corner to web in year after year, until she mated, then she died soon after, which was a few months after her 5th year.

She was HUGE, too! Before i knew of this specimen, i thought they didn't get all that large.

Actually** most cobweb spiders do not live over 2 years. Steatoda grossa is an exception to this rule. In general the genres of Steatoda & Latrodectus have the capability to live 3-4 years however they seldom do. S. grossa has been recorded up to 6 years and is the longest living cobweb spider.
