M-16A2: Only if you have the right paperwork for it. Otherwise, you have to be taking your shower break from the Army field exercise while you're your buddy is at the door guarding your weapon. *lol* I was an M249 gunner last time. *grins* "SAW" (squd automatic weapon) is fully automatic an one killa weapon on a bipod!!! I'm gonna try to get back to the subject now.

adios,
edw. :D

John,

I want one. Actually I want a dozen or so.

I am relatively new to T keeping and the closest I have found to a optimal enclosure is the acrylic ones you can get from Michaels. But this only works until the s'ling reaches 2" or so.

Can you share more of the details on how these were made? If not...start a business.

Start a business...good one Jeff.
This cage is just a display cage. It hasn't been in use all that long, so it doesn't have that "lived-in" look. I have another I'm slowly building. It will have the exact dimensions as the first.
Here's a basic drawing of the body of the cage. If you decide to use screws to fasten the two pieces, choose a thicker (1/4") sheet of Lexan.
The lid is easy. Just a flat piece with aluminum angle, pop-riveted on. If you want more details, PM me.

Totally legal. I wouldn't have it any other way.
This is not an M16A2, but the civilian AR-15. It is semi-auto. No paperwork required in PA. Paperwork, yes, for the sound suppressor.
Since this is totally off topic, look for thread at the watering hole, and we'll talk guns.
