Haha thanks! This guy marks my 5th so my collection is still small yet. So far seems like a great choice but very skittish!! So excited to see it matureVery interesting species I say myself, hope your collection expands!
I picked up a 1/2" Chilobrachys sp. kontum about 9 months ago from Tarantula Canada. I was thinking it was possibly a dyscolus hybrid too, but it's not. I asked Amanda from TarCan if there's a possibility of it being a dyscolus hybrid. She said that it is a separate species. It just doesn't have a name yet. Their locality is Kontum Vietnam.View attachment 450215 View attachment 450216
First photo is in January at 1/2inch and second is last night during rehousing at 2 inches. 4 molts. Still unsexed but suspected male
Starting to think it’s a dyscolus hybrid. Bought as Chilobrachys sp. kontum
