Very nice!! Put me down for 1 (or 5
)
You may be right...she was originally bought from a T/reptile store that has had a few mis-labeled T's in the past...so it's a definite possibility...any differences I can look for between the two? I think there seems to be a slight difference in the hairs on the abdomen...our girl's abdomen is more smooth where the pics of the Guanxienis looked to have courser hair on the abdomen....Thanks! RobNice chilo!There def fast hehe
I think what you have tho is not C.andersoni and instead
Chilobrachys guanxiensis ;]

Well, thank you for confirming the speed of these things..I thought maybe it was just me.I have 3 slings of c.andersoni and even as babies they are mental. I also have a juvi c.bermensis (spelling?) which i lost under the boyfriends bed for 20 mins when i was trying to re house it. It was in the pot, on my hand, in the air and gone in less then 2 seconds. Its easily the fastest spider i have. EASILY.
And they web like crazy, its really amazing. The c.bermensis has made a spiral tube filling its while tank with web. They grow quick too.
Definately a good cholice, and she will keep you on your toes!
I love them

Wow, thanks for the info. I know you know your T's and I really appreciate you passing that along. I'd like to breed her but need to identify exactly what she is first...I don't want to put hybrids in the hobby...robRob heres a good key to some of the hobby Chilobrachys

No problem Rob!Good luck finding a male.You don't usually see to many of this species around.Mostly just see WC females and that's it.Wow, thanks for the info. Okay, I got the pics but it sure wasn't easy!! She did not want to cooperate and took off yet again after attacking the camera! Here's the pics, hope they're good enough and what you were looking for:Rob,
Can you post a clear picture of the metatarsi of the first pair of legs?
