Cheap Snake Hook For Doityourselfers

I made this snake hook in about 10 minutes for only 3 or 4 bucks. I scrounged the broken golf shaft from a cousin for free. I ran over to Home Depot and picked up a length of 5/16" steel rod, (they were out of 5/16" aluminum rod). I bent the rod into a hook and cut to length. I cut the end of the hook at an angle and filed off the sharp edges. I epoxied the hook into the shaft with some golf club epoxy. The hook didn't quite come out shaped like I wanted it, but it will make a serviceable field hook.
