Ginger Avicularia minatrix sling unsexed bought after being recommended by viper69 for keeping the stripes as they mature (my second favourite avic feature) and little one hasn't disappointed not only is Ginger super cute but is super active always on a mission somewhere.

Took very late at night Milly my Bonnetina minax saf rarely comes out during the day since she's been in premoult but even through the water marks with her colours dull at 1am she shines ✨️

It would appear both you and I bought our A. minatrix at the suggestion of NMTs and Viper69. What a happy coincidence! 🀩

Hahaha... for me it was the same. Dwarf Avic that stays red with chevrons? Checks every box for me. Then I PM'd NMTs about his minatrix and he sealed the deal. I got two the next time I saw them available.

I have one bold and one skittish, but both have great feeding responses and web heavily! They are an amazing species, I wonder why more people don't have them!

I think it's coz they aren't big, unfortunately alot of keepers just aren't interested in tiny t's . Idk y they are some of the most beautiful and colourful imo. Plus coz they are tiny I can fit more in my house 😁 bonus in my book πŸ˜†

Just one pic today it isn't good but made me laugh. Yesterday I rehoused Dani Calafornia my Sericopelma santa catalina saf, I got one bad pic as she disappeared into her new pre made burrow and one pic from today I have put them side by side for comparison.
20240322_183257.jpg

A lot of your Tarantulas look awesome! All your Pamphos are stunning, the P Victorii, H Pulchripies, Santa Catalina and this one, thank you for showing me :D

Does the P Victorii and H Pulchripies hide a lot?

Thanks they are my pride n joy, I spend alot of my time with them n np 😊
My pulchripes I never see she's burrowed n if I am lucky I see feet occasionally she stands over her burrow like on the pic but it's rare she's probably my most hidden t, my victorii though sits out all the time on her corkbark, she's pretty bold and only hides when she's going to moult at most she's gone around 3/4 weeks then she's bk with her fresh self sitting on the corkbark 😊 She probably the psalmopoeus I see the most of and I have 7 sp out of the genus. She grows fast too she was a tiny sling when I got her took a yearish to get to 4inches dls from about 1.5 cm , eats like a horse too I can 100% recommend them .... not so much the pulchripes πŸ˜†

It's a shame someone has thrown a quad into the middle of the pond but at least the dragonflies seem to be using it to rest on . I would of pulled it out but the pond is huge (50ft across) and I can't reach it its about 20 ft out ..... I may go bk with some wellies. It shouldn't be there.
