It Kinda Does count... Athena Challenged Arachne to a Weaving Contest and Lost to Arachne.Then Athena turned Arachne into a Spider... Mythology "Arachnogods" Etc.. This also explains why Annabeth would be afraid of Spiders.... REVENGE. Reading is good, just don't believe everything You read, especially Nowadays!

Yeah absolutely not... If highschool (and T research) has taught me anything it's how to check and cite sources and that Wikipedia is never a reliable source of information

Yeah, I went through a phase where I was interested in keeping a pack of mastiffs (of different origins English, Turkish, etc) and naming them after different deities of fire and metallurgy like Hephaestus, Vulcan, Brokkr, etc. So that list was made in a matter of minutes (don't worry (for those who will) I have moved on from the dog pack phase due to plain reasoning just because as one person it's nearly impossible to raise more than like 1 dog so an entire pack wouldn't be good for anyone).
Also another name would be Minerva due to the Roman's basically copying, pasting, and renaming the Greek pantheons, so Minerva is the Roman version of Athena.
