I'm hoping to hear from anybody that has or had has worked with that species. I'm fascinated by them and then hoping to get a bunch to rear up for a more naturalistic habitat. I think you guys call him bioactive these days.
My question is how hard is it to rear them from second in star? What sort of feeders work best? What is their breeding cycle? And anything else that anybody has to offer I would love to read. I appreciate any help in advance.

I have some of these babies, I feed bean beetles and cut up dubia. They seem to grow slow, I keep on coco fiber in 4oz cups

Thank you also! I'll Google how to raise BB's, never even heard of them. Was wondering about termites, wingless fruits, and pinheads?
Also, do think from i3 that it would be a year before they could go communal? Pondering but not enough experience to risk their little lives. Dang their cute though.

I just got one of these a few days ago. Second or third instar, very very tiny.

The picture makes it look much bigger than it actually is lol

I don’t have a lot of experience with this genus so I’m mostly commenting to get updates on this thread… but I left a cricket drumstick in there and found the scorpion eating it. So they will scavenge feed.

I have mine on a substrate mixture suggested by the vendor: peat / coco fiber / vermiculite (around 75 / 15 / 10 ratio) in a small deli cup enclosure. Cross ventilation. Moisture dependent species so moist substrate and moist sphagnum moss. I heard they will dig a burrow, but so far mine just hides under the moss.

very cute little scorpion, I think you’ll enjoy these little critters
