I always tought Ceratogyrus spp. males don't have the horn on the carapax? Am I wrong?

I have never seen this sp in real life, is that really a horn? because it looks more like a hole :? but that wouldnt make sense..

Penultimate male Ceratogyrus bechuanicus.
He has since matured and is the proud father of ~150 youngins!!

female C brachycephalus 3.25" legspan a great specie IMO this one molted about 2 weeks ago.
