I saw someone selling a Scolopendra sp. Mint Legs, and I want to know how long a 20cm centipede would live. I don't want to get an expensive centipede just to have it die in a few months.

Probably 4-5 years depending on age. You know, @NYAN has some of the most sought after centipedes in the hobby Right now. Really good price for what they are. Plus you're almost guaranteed to have a 10+ year old 12 inch giant. Unlike spiders or scorpions, there is very little sexual dimorphism in centipedes. Males tend to live just as long as the females.

Sa giants live an average of 5 years, could probably get 6 or 7 years if not bred, mating somehow reduces their lifespan even if they don't lay eggs
