Centipede Enclosure

I’m just curious on the thoughts of using the Herpcult 8x6x6 enclosure for a 6 in centipede. Would that enclosure be fine?

Will it grow larger than 6in? Not sure how much room centipedes use but I feel like that's a little tight if it's already the width of the enclosure

I’m pretty certain the rule of thumb for centipedes is two or three times their length for the length and width and at least as high as the centipede is so they can’t climb out too easily. So for a 6 inch pede id do at least a 12x8x8.

Ill look into something larger

Needs to be bigger. Make sure to check if there are any small openings in the enclosure when you get it, as pedes are escape artists.

Enclosure should be tall enough so as to 'impede' an escape while doing maintenance with the lid off.
