Thank you for your kind words, everyone.

@Keef: Yes, that would be great! Please keep me in mind when your male is ready to move on! :)

Wonderful pics! :) Eventhough my sling is cute and all blue and that, I can't wait for it to get all that big and fuzzy!

My babies are now about 1.5" and just had their second moult with me in the last few days, they are getting there but still have a way to go.

There's no denying that those are great photo's as usual and may I also add that if that's her pre-moult, you must place the pics on here of her post moult!!!!

I couldn't get her to come out anymore...so, I just got a couple shots of her web and feet.

My A. versicolor makes a "V" shaped web with 2 exits. For some reason my Avic. avic just likes to make a complete saucer web with no exit at the top of its container.

I paired up my female A. versicolor with a male on loan from liveprey. Everything seemed to go very well and I'm letting them stay together for a couple of days.

2:10 am
Male introduced to female's container.

2:13am
Male is on one wall, female on the opposite. Male begins to drum.

2:15am
Male begins to walk into the webbing, still drumming.

2:16am
Female begins moving across the container, towards the male.

2:17am
Female begins drumming near the male and both are in the web.

2:37am
Mating session over - container returned to shelf.

I apologize for the quality of the photos - they didn't turn out very well through the glass and the position was so odd that it made it difficult to tell what was happening.

Female's enclosure and web (which, unfortunately, was torn when the door was opened)

Male being introduced to female in temp. container

Coming together - the female was hanging upside down by a few legs hanging onto the webbing and the male was on top of her - it was a fascinating site, I wish I was able to get better pictures - definite insertions

Male on left, female on right (after mating)

Ventral shot of female after mating

Thanks, everyone! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :D

Here he is the day after mating, making a sperm web in the female's enclosure:

And here he is again, making another sperm web the next day (after, I'm assuming, mating again the day before):
