ok, i know im very lazy.. :D but is there a way to trap cenitpedes?

Will these work?

1. Pitfall trap baited with something like meat( of course, there is the problem of ants coming in and killing the pede :wall: )

2. Two flat pieces of wood, both slightly damp. Place one on the ground. place a stone on each corner. Place the other piece on top. Someone on mantidforum recommended this as a way to trap circkets as they would be attracted by the mouisture. Since centipedes dry out easily, will this trap work?

BTW i spelled this title wrongly :wall:

I think you'd have just as much luck searching through leaf litter and rock formations, but then again, I haven't a clue as to likely places to find centipedes in your native environment. If you do find anything, you know we want pictures:drool:

Seems like I read they do that there in Singapore, pitfall traps to catch pedes for fish bait, I can't remember what the person said the use for pede bait though. And I don't know if it's true or not. I don't think it'd work well with at least most N. america sp though.
