can you ID this Bug?

presume Order Hemiptera or could it be nymphal stage of some Orthoptera? Found on leaf in Richmond Pk SW London in may last year.

Never seen one of those before. I see why you are thinking Hemiptera. Are the antenna kind of funny for Orthoptera? Also, kind of has a Homoptera look to it but prob not. It looks dead and dehydrated in the pic or was that a live insect when the pic was taken?

Its Hemipteran, probably the nymph of one of the species of Mirid - it does not look like its going to live much longer, looks a little battered to say the least.

Well done - someone on the diptera forum ID'd it as the nymph of a Plant Bug Rhabdomiris striatellus.
