If tarantulas can/do drink/eat blood would it be good for them? Or do they need the "fiber" of crickets and worms? Or it just a little bit crazy?

What is the reason for that question???? Are you going to place a feeder order at a blood bank???? LOL! I have read alot of questions on this forum but this is a first for me.

i would imagine that straight blood would be just as fine for them as a cricket... tons of protien, vitamin, all that.....

If you expose your tarantula to light and it burns to a crisp, then yeah, it drinks blood.

If it sparkles instead, please kill it and put it out of it's misery.

I'm pretty sure the OP was asking more along the lines of whether blood could be used as a food source, not whether or not they can physically consume it.
