Can T’s still consume crickets with ovipositor?

There’s this long tubular structure that sticks out of my crickets, after doing some research I’ve come to find out it is called the “ovipositor” Can T’s still consume crickets with it?

all female crickets have this...why on earth would it prevent it from being eaten?

Yes - my tarantulas actually prefer the females with ovipositors because they're fatter and juicier. 😁

Yes that’s just for egg laying If you breed them. I know it looks sharp and pointy but it’s not a problem.

Yes- do you think in the wild they only eat males?
