Probably not the right type of cat food. They like fishy smelly foods, plus unless in large groups they usually just nibble the food. Fish food is another one they like.

Maybe you can us a coffee grinder and mix in some cat food (dry) and some fish flakes ?

i have been recomended not to use cat food for cockroaches because it is too high in protien and should use doggy food in stead ( all dry ) i have never tried useing fish food i might put some in there soon.
my roaches only ever take nibbles out off the food i give them but sometime when i give them dog buiskets they take it into there hidyhole and munch on it there!!

I've seen that too that my dubia take the piece of fruit by the neck ( ) and pull in into the shade... if it isnt too heavy.

I bought the heat mat for my roaches today HOOORRAAAAYY!!! Now I hope the population explodes so that I can make all my arachnids explode too!!

Food

Most roaches will drag food into a dark place in they can. Since mine are kept in a dark room most of the time they don't even bother. My food is a mixture of cat, brans, fish, and a few other things. Last time I checked the protien in cat food it wasn't much different then in dog food. Species like Eublaberus proticus need lots of protien.

Well, most importantly the picture you want to post has to be large enough in itself, I mean it has to have the right size on the screen so you can see all the details. Then you just attach it "Manage Attachments" button - I guess that is how you put up that stick insects face, isn't it? So: get a big picture (it filling about half the screen is big enough in most cases) and attach with the M.A. button

yea i did it with the mange attments button but when i tried to put in a big picture it says it has to be 100 pixles by 100 pixles soo that is the biggest i could get it. i will try again now.
