Can an S. subspinipes survive in Florida?

And to clarify, I don't mean in captivity. I mean, if an S.subspinipes escaped in my house, what are the chances that it would survive to adulthood?

I expect it wouldn't survive very long, but I still figure it's worth asking.

Did one of your pede's escape? I would bet it would survive, but I'm no expert. Might be a new subspines colony in Florida hehehe.

I don't see why it couldn't survive.... it's humid as all get out in FL, and hot enough too... the only problem would be the intersection of breedable adults and viable offspring.

Of course, if this were to happen, it would probably be the last domino to fall in the outright banning of any centipede exportation at all.
