Ok, so a friend of mine got a camel spider some time ago, and he needs some help.
Shortly after he got it, it went onto its back, with the legs sticking straight up. It's been like that for a good two weeks now. It's still alive, as it wiggles its butt, but apart form that its not showing any signs of life.
So, what I'm basically wondering here, as I'm usually a tarantula kinda gal, how long does a molt take for these guys?
Could it be a MM, that just tried to molt one more time?
Is it hibernating?
I really am clueless about these critters, but I was hoping you could shed some light on it for me... Here's a pic of the pose it's been in for a while;
