Calistoga longitarsis bite

Has anybody else been bit by a Calistoga longitarsis/ false tarantula? I was bitten by a wild female last summer and it was awfully painful. It actually left my bitten fingers numb for a week--I was wondering if anybody has had a similar experience or if I had a bad reaction particularly. Not that I'd recommend it in the slightest, but they're aggressive little creatures and don't hesitate to bite if you mess with them. Learned my lesson the hard way
