I bought a 3/4 inch C. elegans back in July. It is now five months later and it has not molted. Is this normal? I've heard tat this is a fast growing species.

it will molt when its ready to nothing you can really do about it anyways other than just wait and keep its water dish full. use your time to make use of the search function to learn more about molting and the signs of pre molt. good luck

They grow up pretty quickly from sling sizes but at 3/4" that is getting close to adult size and you can expect molts to happen less frequently. Sounds perfectly normal to me.
