C. crawshayi eating frenzy!

I have a 6 or so inch C. crawshayi from bearacuda that decided it wanted to eat my bearded dragon out of crickets today!
Usually my dragons eat way more crickets than any of my other animals, but today, the crazy baboon went ballistic!
I put about 25 crickets in there when all was said and done..... and it finished all while i watched. i'mgonna drop more in when i get home and see what happens!

Hmmmm,

Hi all..

Well,, my 6-7 inch female Chaco eats a lot, a LOT.

Cricket comes close to her,, leg up into the air and down behind the cricket and just shovel it up to mouth. She doesn't even "fang" them,,it's just squeeeze and done and over with.

I think she's ready for weight-watchers...

25 crickets???!!! Do the crawshayi really eat that much on a routine basis? I only throw in perhaps 4 or 5 crickets per week for my King Baboon (7"). I thought she wasn't a very big eater, at least I have never seen any evidence of aggressive hunting behavior. How many crickets should I give her? Also, I have frozen baby mice. What is the best method for feeding her defrosted mice? TIA
