burrowing p. regalis?

like the title says my gf has a burrowing poecilotheria regalis. i havent seen this ever. is this normal? its still a sling, 2" or so. :?

It's quite normal for Pokie slings or juveniles to burrow and in fact some never relinquish their terrestrial bonds so please don't worry as it will be fine. Mine did it when I first put it in it's new home but it soon settled in and it's climbing everywhere now.

no more worrying then lol. thanks, my gf finds it cute that it burrows too. lol

Yeah, hubby's p. ornata sling burrows. It's been hanging out on the side of the vial lately though, too. I have yet to get any good pics of the ornata since it's either in its burrow or sitting on the substrate blending in with everything. Can't wait til its bigger so we can see how pretty it is.

My ornata sling molted yesterday, and it's legs from the exuvium are sticking out of it's burrow...it's SO cute. :)

my P.ornata molted yesterday too. (4th instar now) It did it in less then 20 minutes. He doesnt burrow but has dirt mixed in with its webbing going all the way up his little tree thing.
