If you live within a few hours of Cleveland it's worth the drive. If your wife or husband likes plants they can enjoy themselves as well (kids can participate in free mealworm races). The botanical gardens' glass house hosts a huge Costa Rican butterfly garden (living) as well as leafcutter ants and more.
The event includes an edible bug bar free to entomophages. Hundreds of insects and spiders will be on display. Check out the huge insect and tarantula display by Jim Smolka on Aril 1st. Invert display by Orin McMonigle March 31st and April 1st.
(Normally, dead beetle-amblypigid-tarantula-butterfly specimens, books, honeycomb and much more is available for sale on the weekend depending on the presenters.)
