Update : He's still alive but my baby can't walk anymore ;( I'm trying everything don't know if I'm helping but I will try anything at this point if someone knows what to do. I'm using z q tip in some water and I want to say he's drinking from it. But I can't rlly tell. I'll do this as long as he seems to accept the water. I'm really hoping I can save my baby T 🙏 not giving up and if anyone can help me with more knowledge I would really appreciate you. He's in a death curl and he's barely moving at all he can't even extend his legs anymore

Edit : around 20 minutes later he still seems like hes accepting water from this q tip. I'm not sure how much I should keep doing this for him I don't wanna over do it if that's even possible. 3rd Pic is him now. I'm wondering if I should take him out of this enclosure and put him a dryer fresh substrate to get him somewhere more controlled
I’ve lost healthy Ts to dehydration and never knew why. One day there fine , then dying, then dead. Last was my s cal I got at a pet shop. It had a full water dish.

I got this guy when I was still a complete idiot as far as keeping them goes. I didn't even know the difference between arboreal but he was gorgeous lol. Wasn't till I got home i started watching videos and realized I had to buy a whole special enclosure for him. Idek if it's male or female I just kinda assume at this point. He did molt once I never was able to find out what the sex is I think too young to tell anyway. But anyway I never redid the enclosure I meant to glue a water dish up high for him to access but guess I just assumed it would be fine until I redo the enclosure after he molted so i didnt disturb him poking in there with a hot glue gun and the fumes i was worried about too.. So I had the water dish sitting on the ground he drank out of it before though, but after that one time I can't say I ever seen him take a drink. I figured crickets would be enough hydration. Also to add more info this. When I kept crickets they kept dying super fast within 2 days so I would rip pieces off of this sponge I got from Walmart, just a yellow sponge I assume non toxic. And I'd soak em in water drain the excess, the crickets would drink from that. I wonder if that could be another thing. I really just don't know. He is still accepting the water it seems but idk. I made a small "ICU" using a little plastic container poked some ventilation holes and wet paper towels and using a small heat pad under it to keep him warm/humid tonight (tell me if that's a bad idea please, I just read it on here that some people make ICU for their sick dehydrated tarantulas so stop me if that's a horrible idea please) I'm hoping he can recover. 🙏 I have to go to bed.

He has passed unfortunately. Further examination after I turned him over he didn't have anymore of that brown fluid around his fangs, his fangs are actually clean, but some discoloration on the hairs around that area. Thank you all for your help and insight trying to save him 🙏 I'll research more and stay on top of it for sure if I decide to buy another A. Avic.
