Broken fang tips

I just noticed today that my Theraphosa blondi’s fangs are chipped.
Probably from either pulling on the screen top or attacking the water dish when I go to fill it.
She seems to be eating OK and there doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Has any one else ever had a similar experience and if so is there any cause for concern? :?

Thanks, Chris

Hey Sensei,

Guess if it's eating ok you have nothing to worry about. My rose hair had this when I bought her, was no problem with eating, and with her molt got her razorsharp fangs back.

I've had this happen, too, and the fangs were repaired in successive molts. So long as they can eat, they seem to be okay. If the chip is really bad, you may want to try soft-bodied foods like waxworms with them until they molt.
