In short time I will have an aquarium sized 125cmx50x50 (49"x20"x20") that I want to divide in two parts. I want to house my 1.1.0 Theraphosa "burgundy" (T.stirmi) in it, and try breeding them. Reason for using an aquarium instead of a terrarium, is that it will provide more space for a good layer of peat.
My thought would be to use a removable divider (like a trapdoor), so for the breeding I would onlye have to remove the divider.
The male I would offer a compartment about 1/3 of the tank, the female 2/3.
Any advise or thoughts on the breeding and this setup would be very welcome
