Hi Holley,
He's one of three mature male S.crassipes we have at the moment (with another on the way), amongst a myriad of females, we hope to get a few sacs from this species this year. That's the second male put to that female.

Thanks for the compliments people......

beautiful pictures, i love the color differences between those Ts...amazing.

nature just keeps surprising us over and over again. what a wonderful thing to experience.

say steve, i'm very new to the hobby as you might know...

would you recommend a particular T as easy to breed? i would prefer a docile T and something that doesn't produce OODLES of babies. ;)

thanks, your advice is most appreciated.

Hi Skadi,
I know ;) Yourself and my wife have a LOT in common, as you know.......

Hmmm, this isn't such an easy question to answer.....most of the Brachypelma produce large numbers of offspring. I'd go with Avicularia versicolor (you can sell all the offspring very easily) or perhaps Grammostola pulchra (again, same deal).

Another shot so you can see the size of the female compared to the male.....

This picture is just begging for a humorous caption.
Female: "Get away from me you perv!!!"

Male: "Not until you give me a kiss........come on, just one smoocheroo."

That's the best I could do. Very neat pics!

Male: "ohh hunny, c'mon gimme a lil' kiss.."

Female: "NO! You've been drinking again."

Those are some very :pGeorgeous:p pictures you've posted for our viewing pleasure Steve, and you know we are all into spider porn too =D I particularly enjoy seeing little guys going for such a big girl, probably a good thing she's feeling submissive to his dominating ways
