hey... i have a male and female wolf spiders and was wondering if anyine has tried to breed them. If so how did it go:confused:

Breeding true spiders such as Lycosidae is fairly easy, just make sure the female is well fed and introduce the male to her enclosure..you should have spiderlings in no time, Coop.

<I've never bred Wolf spiders, before. Check with Wade or Alex S- to make certain that's how it is done.>

Yes make sure the female is well fed. Introduce the male into the enclosure. When the male encounters the female he should crouch down low and begin to wave his palps and front legs, while vibrating the abdomen up and down. The female may respond by waving her forelegs then touches the male and signals for mating. These are the signs knowing that they will mate.
