Breeding question

I have never bred any tarantula before so I am completely clueless. I just had a h maculata female molt so I'm looking for a male. I want to know how much I'll need to save to keep all these. Also how much will I need to sell these to break even? I don't care too much about profit but I don't want to loose money. Finally is this a hard species to breed?

Check out the breeding forums for hints on breeding. Breeding is not a very easy thing at all. You may succeed of course however, though it all depends on a lot of things. You can raise the chances by checking breeding reports and asking experienced breeders and do what they did.

Check out some breeding reports for Pterinochilus murinus... from personal experience and from what I've read this species is relatively easy to breed and they are inexpensive too. Though I had been raising tarantulas for years before I attempted breeding that is where I started.
