That didnt look like a good insertion to me but perhaps it was.
Mine seem to have been much longer.
The last sac I had went bad, but this week Ive tried again and found the female to be very receptive. I have 2 other females to try.
What temps and conditions did you keep them after mating and did this change when the sac was laid? Did you pull the sac and what timescales did you find to get to slings.

Sorry for all the questions but I really want to crack this one.

I'm with Poxicator! I'll have a chance to try very soon, as my female is in heavy premoult, and my male matured last month.
