that is a pic of my florida vagans,i also have sabulosum.which is similiar,but actually has a few red hairs on legs.(also seems to be thinner and more skittish)

That's great news. At last we can finally figure out what species we had in Orange county after all this years.
Meaning that You caught it personally or got from reliable source.

Is this normal or just a quirk mine has? =P

Forgive the poor image quality, until I either fix my camera or get a new one, I'm using the one on my phone... And the second image I had to take through the plastic sides.

I have a tiny B.Smithi too, but getting a (semi) decent photo of her is tough.

Young Brachypelma smithi female with eggsac.





This is an eggsac, i´m very proud of, cause i raised this young girl from sling in 1 moult to adult, and it took me around 7 years.

I think this is the way, she thanks me for good care.
