Brachypelma smithi Sling care tips please!

I'm a newbie at tarantula care / caring and i just wanted to know if you have any tips for raising a B.smithi sling. S/he (has not been sexed yet) is about 1-2 cm and I'm not sure how to feed it properly b/c im afraid the feeders might attack the smithi. ;-;

Too small to feed it live prey, so pre-killed prey it is. If you wan to feed something that small then pre-killed prey or diced mealworms are the best choices to go to for feeding.

Care is easy condiment cups/sauce cups will do, with half a portion moist and half dry in the enclosure.

Depends on how big is the pre-killed prey that you feed it. If you give your little one a small pre-killed cricket, then I'd say once a week is good. Since your little one is very small and the smallest crickets are around 2cm at most petshops.

Keep it on slightly moist substrate until around 2" and then dry after that, here's a couple of examples of sling setups (AAA battery for scale)

I'm not sure how to feed it properly b/c im afraid the feeders might attack the smithi.

Just pre-kill feeders by crushing their heads or cut them up into manageable chunks.

Every 3-5 days until it reaches 2", once every 7-10 days after that

Feed it as much as it would eat! 2 times a week is good

I have a B. smithi sling too ^^ I just feed the little guy small pre killed crickets about twice a week. I just leave them outside of the hide and let the little guy do it's thing!

Be sure to remove any "remains" of the feeder like 24 hours after you place it in there.

Use small prey- even at 1/8” a T will take down live prey.
