First off, why do you have to open so many threads for one and the same subject? The first one would've sufficed.

Anyways, regarding your questions, the one I posted a picture of in your thread is a female of ~4.75" as mentioned and she is 4,5 years old now. Brachys grow pretty slow, but when they molt, they gain a always quite some size. Mine molted twice in my care so far and I got her as a 3,5" in February. Not powerfeeding her, nor keeping her on elevated temps. Just normally. I'd suggest getting a juvie if you don't want to wait...

OP, What Storm said seems generally true but it also depends upon feeding regimen and temps. Just like with the mf G pulchra I recently mentioned, I had a mature 5" female B boehmei in one year, or maybe a little over, but it wasn't much. I kept temps up and power-fed her to a little over 3" before slowing down- and as with the Braz black, she kept right on growing! I have heard that B boehmei seem faster growers among others in that genus, though.

I'll say again that I do not believe that tarantulas in the wild "starve" themselves, except naturally during drought times or other times of low prey abundance. Other than roving mature males, most of the numerous wild-caught female and/or subadult A hentzi I've observed over the years have looked full as a tick! Terry
