Firstly, if a tarantula looses its leg the wound automaticly shuts itself to minimize bloodloss! There is no need to put some substence on it. It is only making it worse! Like people said, better letting nature fix things! And luke people said, the tank should have as little hight as possible. Better to put in substrate so that the hight ftom the substrate to the rim would be like 4 inches or such! And furthermore on subject of terrariums. Much better with a tank that has more ventilation, tan a tank with to little! A well ventilated terrarium will work much better. A tank with to little ventilation will have problems with moulds, pests like miteinfestations and the spider will luve in a not ideal enviroment. Better to add moisture more often instead!
