This is my P. regalis. can anyone tell if its a male or female from these pics. I dont know what you all look at in those pics, and i think the white band makes it evan harder to see. Its hard to get the molts out from these spider without getting it all shredded up in the webs. Sorry for the not so good pics.

yeah i'm havin the same problems , i have mainly all pokies and am having problems sexing them, and getting a sexable molt from any of my t's is ridiculous all are usualy shredded, i just had 3 ornatas molt in 3 days--Jeff

To all, if you post a picture of them from an above angle they will be easier to sex, Females in this genus are flat like males, but there color is more vibrant. So post away/

The white does make the 'lip' hard to see, but the vibrance of the colors based on what Martin told us in this thread, I'd guess at female. How long has it been since molt?
