So I heard that pulcha slings tend to burrow when given the chance...and it seems Sadako has taken that chance. She's already completely buried one "dish" and has covered the other one I put in place. I caught her whilst she was moving more substrate...fascinating to watch my little guy/girl at work.

Sorry the photo isn't that great but thought I'd share :)

It's neat to watch them 'landscape'. My immature male quit burrowing when he hit about 5". The ~2" sling I have has not burrowed at all in my care, though it does like to stuff the water bowl. :)

Haha definitely, it's fun to watch them rearrange everything to their liking.

I'd love to *borrow* that spider  I was watching Mr.John's N chromatus (http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/sho...tus-in-her-new-enclosure-digging-out-a-burrow.) dig quite the run last night.
Oh my god, I'm a tit. Didn't even notice the typo...seems I'm not a very good spellerer :p I checked out the live cam but I seem to have clicked at a bad time as I can't see the t lol.

Cool pic! G. pulchras are great spiders!
Thanks! Oh totally, I can't wait to see mine get all jet black, the slight jet black on her abdomen is gorgeous.
