So my B. Smithi likes to climb his tank and he ended up taking a fall onto his water cup in which he just stayed there for about 5 minutes or so. He then moved over the the other side of the tank propped himself up on the side and began to grind his fangs like he would after eating. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was a red liquid in his mouth and now I am really worried, any assurance and help is appreciated

I could be overreacting over it all, but its the first time I've seen this so just want to make sure he'll be okay, the red seems the be clearing up since I first posted this

T's don't have blood and my smithi has reddish mouth all the time, so I think you might be overreacting.

However, climbing tank might be a concern. If you just rehoused it than it's not a problem, but if it's housed for longer than a week, it probably means it doesn't like the substrate. Probably too wet substrate.

Tarantulas have blood... BUT its not red like ours. Their blood contains hemocyanin which is less efficient at moving oxygen around the body which isnt much of an issue!

The only time a T's fangs will appear red or bloody is right after a molt before the new exo and fangs begin to harden. It's not actually blood that causes this though. As stated, a tarantulas hemolymph (blood) is not red.
Aside from that, could it be that you saw a droplet of "drool" that was magnifying the red color of the mouthparts behind it?

and of the mouth parts... so far i think Londoners reply is viable. A tarantulas hemolymph/blood is a translucent bluish/yellowish color fyi. I know its been stated that t blood isnt red a few times already, but i gave ya the COLOR so know you know what to look for.

Hey, nd thanks everyone for the assurance. Grayzone you're right I was just overreacting and he is my second T and I am still a noob at raising them. Him climbing was strange for me because my G. Rosea never did it, she always just stuck to the ground on in her hide. He is at the moment looking very content with the ground now after the substrate dried out. I can still post a picture of the enclosure if y'all would like me to

And I apologize to everyone for my noobness lol, basically just a new parent freaking out and unsure what happened

and actually the haemolymph of tarantulas is clear ..., its bluish in gastropods. Its not reddish in any arthropods.
