Here are some (more) terrible shots of my Puerto Rican Giant, Freight Train. Would have actually been decipherable with clean glass and a tripod, but you'll just have to take my word for it that she's killing/eating a hopper mouse. I've had her for a year and seen her eat a few times but never seen the kill until this. Interesting that, instead of wrapping much of her body around it like my mutilans do with insects, she basically did a headstand on it, keeping her body straight and pushing and biting down hard. I guess she knows a mouse could bite back. One of these days I'll take the time to set it up to get some decent pictures.
