Looks like the Hogna georgicola we have here. Check her ventral abdomen. H. georgicola has a mottled, rust color there.

That's a big one (or you have small hands). The ones I've been getting that look like that drop a fertile sac fairly soon. I've been seeing them in the woods here now with the butt-load of babies.

I find them here in the woods close to their burrows.

I think sammyp wants her. :)

I'm not sure she'd ship well from texas though, padkison. Lovely species to have running around local to you tho!
