Hmmm...I personally love the P. formosa (I've never personally had one but you have to appreciate those purple highlights) and the P. metallica (Come on, it's a P. metallica).
For me, it's definitely the "eyebrows"!Can one of the miranda fans explain what is uniquely beautiful about them above other Pokies? I always think that striata, miranda, pederseni, etc. have the gestalt of a regalis but not quite as a good. I feel like I must be missing something.
I find the colors richer, the contrasts and marking more striking, and the leg banding more vivid in my miranda than my regalis or striata. Can one of the miranda fans explain what is uniquely beautiful about them above other Pokies? I preffer miranda over regalis because of those wide big bands on patella. It makes it much more contrasting and more "defined"Can one of the miranda fans explain what is uniquely beautiful about them above other Pokies? With red hair, it's like Christmas morning! But with fangs!!Psh. Rufilata of course! Why? Because A) its green...B ) ..its green. And C) Dude, I mean, come on. Its green.
Yep - absolutely gorgeous girl! I care more about those than P. metallica actually. P. metallica is looking great, but P. subfusca just has waaaaaaaay better contrasts on it! Love Chad's pictures of that girl...i highly encourage all you to go to advans photos and check out the new subfusca line up haha.. one of his most recent subfusca shots made my decision for me.
You're lucky. My sling is somewhat...weird. It has a corkbark tube in its enclosure that it uses sometimes (especially runs into it if I hit it accidentally with the light) but for the most part, he/she stay behind that thing on the ground, webbing quite some there and chilling. Also, i dont know if this is entirely normal or not but my subfusca sling (approximately 1.5-1.75max) swears its an avic.
Every Poeci sling ive ever raised burrows. Except this subfusca. It has created a web ball on the lid of its deli and it just hangs out there all day. It molted inside the ball, and kicked its exuvium out, and has been there for the past 2 or 3 weeks without moving.
Either way, i like the visibility factor and i hope it stays that way
