I second the subfusca, the contrast is beautiful and they have a demeanor to match!

this question is a tough one, as a few of them have their moments for me, at given times.
I think female P. subfusca gets the crown most frequently though. I really dig theyre coloration and their color contrast

aside from the subfusca
sub adult metallica *not a fan of how females tend to black out with age
female ornata due to all the coloration and the "mask" around its eyes
female regalis *was what brought me to Poeci, and even wanting tarantulas in general.. You never get over your first love

all 4 of those constantly swap places of "favorite/prettiest" for me

I have to say it a toss up between Metallica and Formosa for me. I love to blue of metallica and the purple of formosa is stunning IMO

Well metallica would be an obvious choice, but subfusca...that's a really great looking tarantula.

Subfusca, metallica, regalis, not in that order specifically. Subfusca and regalis don't require special lighting to be amazing, metallica is really amazing but not every time you see them. Probably on an average glance I am impressed with my regalis more regularly. Classic and for a good reason.

Can one of the miranda fans explain what is uniquely beautiful about them above other Pokies? I always think that striata, miranda, pederseni, etc. have the gestalt of a regalis but not quite as a good. I feel like I must be missing something.
