Dosplay tarantulas

A couple great t's for display are Lasiodora parahybana (becasus of their massive size and colors) and the Acanthoscurria geniculata (because of their size, markings & temperment).

A. geniculata or G. auriostriata. They stay out in the open, get pretty big and you just gotta' love the stripes!:D Neither one of these will make you break your piggy bank to purchase which is another plus. These both top out at around eight inches usually.
Something a little smaller, also for a good price that won't try to snack on your fingers would be A. seemani. All three of these are in my collection and it would be hard for me to pick if I could only have just one!

Terrestrial- N. Chromatus. It's inexpensive, usually visible. It has the feisty but not secretive attribute. It gets pretty big, and if you find it easy on the eyes it's an all around winner.

Arboreal- P. Regalis or any other poecilotheria spp. Regalis is inexpensive, usually visible. colorful like a flower. :) Gets pretty large.
