Uggghhhh, one of my absolute favourite Ts. I am so disappointed the 50/50 loan I sent my boy on didn't pan out (the person claimed his female died from "eating too much" after being paired... who knows what really happened, as I was never shown proof.)

I think I found it just by searching hypershape and seeing where they both commented

Monocentropus lambertoni. My lass is pretty much always out. She's more like a terrestrial NW in that respect. Be aware they're very defensive and quite expensive.

What camera do you use? These pictures are next level.

Ah H pulchripes, an absolute stunner! My friend has one (if he hasn't sold it, i forgot) and it's sorta hit and miss with his one, sorta shy sorta not, but can still be said as a very shy T!

I'm fortunate that I have a ridiculous setup that should get me better results but I'm still fumbling my way through photography.

It's a Sony a7r iii with their ridiculous good 90mm macro lens.

Expensive equipment, but damn those photos are crisp. I am looking into buying a decent camera soon, not as decent as yours though

My old camera is a Nikon D5500 with their Nikkor micro 40mm lens. These pics where all taken with that set up with the on board flash.

I am actually looking at the D5500 or D5600 myself. It is expensive but not too expensive you know. Plus i am having a hard time buying something way out there just to take pictures of my T's Just think how many T's I could buy with that money....Then again I will probably get divorce papers if I acquire that many new T's

For me getting a camera has made me appreciate my pets even more. They're worth every penny. Plus you'll start taking pics of your tarantulas. Then plants, wild inverts outside, random objects...........

A lot of money to invest but it's an investment for your life.

Could not agree more. I think i will start with the D5500 as the photos you posted with that equipment is just as impressive. The camera you have at the moment is about 3200 pounds where i live so quite expensive

That's a brilliant bit of kit. I have their mirrorless Nex-5N, but I was seriously considering the a7r for a while. My current camera is 'good enough' for now, and I have other expensive hobbies which I tend to prioritize.

Oh yes. It can do things far beyond my capabilities and apart from any accidents it should last me a lifetime.

Non are especially good display speicies! If kept on deep soil, often they are pet holes. My belief is that if they are display tarantulas there are 2 reasons: Eigher they are kept on shallow substrate, or that if kept on deep substrate snd they are display tarantulas, the condition are not right. Maybe the soil is too loise or the substrate is the wrong substrate!
