I have 6 of these and all have webbed more than they've burrowed.

A few more...

Haven't taken a picture of this one in awhile. She dug a burrow underneath her water dish and typically stays hidden from sight. She was out tonight on a (failed) mating attempt, so I snapped a few pictures.

Female Acanthoscurria geniculata

Mature Male Pseudhapalopus spinulopalpus (here on loan from Gabe / Volgenspinnen)

Freshly molted Pamphobeteus sp. "Ecuadorian Giant Birdeater" - Still unsure of sex, as the molts are always shredded.

It wasn't happy about me taking the molt out..

Freshly molted Psalmopoeus cambridgei - Haven't gotten the molt out of this one yet, so not sure of sex.

Thanks, Kyle! She's about 6" or so now. Still has a bit of growing to do, but is already a very nice size. :)

Not sure about the red spot on the A. insubtilis - there is also some water on that area in the picture, so it looks a bit odd.

As for the red spot on the chelicerae of the L. difficilis, it's just water. :)

Alright Becca, its been a few days now. Anything new yet? :) I REALLY like that Pamphobeteus sp. Ecuadorian Giant Birdeater. I can see one in my future. Nice shots of some great tarantulas.
